Zinc Smelter Plant (NILZ)

Client: National Iranian lead and zinc Co (NILZ)

Type: EPCM

Project: Zinc plant

Location: Zanjan (Iran)

Total Contract value: $350 thousand (1995)

Services: Project management, process and design engineering (Basic and Detailed), Procurement services, Construction management, inspection and commissioning.

Work commenced on early 1996 and completed on April 1999 (36 months). The plant was designed to produce 15,000 tpy zinc Ingot by electrolytic process.
The plant was started up officially by president Khatami on September 1999.

Engineering design in all disciplines covering the following plant areas:

Leaching area

Purification area

Electrowinning area

Magnesium bleed off and waste water treatment area

Melting and casting area

Reaction and Filtration

Residue pond

Zinc dust production

Process and control room buildings


Calcination Plant

Client: Iran Zinc Mines Development Co (IZMDC)

Type: Turnkey

Project: Construction of calcination plant

Total Contract Value: 3 million US $

Location: Mehtar (Zanjan Province)

Services: Basic and detailed engineering, supply of equipment and machineries, supply of spare parts, implementation of civil work, erection and installation of equipment and machineries, commissioning of the plant

Work commenced on November 1999 and completed on February 2001. The plant was designed for calcination of 70,000 tpy zinc carbonate in rotary Kiln.

Engineering design in all disciplines and supply of equipment and machineries for whole plant units covering the following plant areas:

Raw material handling area

Crushing

Rotary kiln for calcination of zinc carbonate as a feed

Cooling drum for cooling product

Grinding of product

Gas dedusting system includes: Conditioning tower, bag filter and stack


Qeshm Zinc Plant

Client: Qeshm Zinc Smelting Complex Co

Type: Turnkey

Project: Construction of Zinc Plant

Total Contract Value: 4 million US $

Location: Qeshm Island (IRAN)

Services: Basic and Detailed Engineering, supply of equipment and machineries, supply of spare parts, implementation of Civil work, erection and installation of equipment and machineries, Commissioning of the plant.

Work commenced on December 2000 and completed on August 2002 (18 months). The plant was designed to produce 10,000 tpy Zinc Ingot by electrolytic process. 

Engineering design in all disciplines and supply of equipment and machineries for whole plant units covering the following plant areas:

Aghdareh Gold Project

Client: Pouya Zarcan Aghdareh Co

Type: EPCM

Project: Construction of Gold Plant

Total Contract Value: 1.7 million US $

Location: Aghdareh (Takab-west Azerbayjan province) IRAN

Capacity: 500,000 ton/year ore

Services: Supervising of Dismantling in Indonesia Earthwork in Takab, Design new foundation based in Takab climate and topography Refurbishment, Re-erection and replacement of new equipment, Design new utilities based on Takab conditions and Iranian mine ore analyze, Piping and instrumentation, Commissioning considering new conditions and data 6 months operating

Work commenced on April 2004 and Completed on April 2005 (12 months). The equipment and machineries were used equipment of Rawas plant in Indonesia which were dismantled, packed, marked and transported to Pouya Zarcan Site in Takab.


Kharg Sulphur Storage Plant

Client: Kharg Petrochemical

Type: Turnkey

Project: Sulphur Storage and Mechanization of Sulphur handling project (EPC)

Location: Kharg Island

Total Contract Value: 3.5 million US $

Services: Basic and Detailed Engineering, supply of equipment and machineries,
supply of spare parts, Construction of covered area for Sulphur storage,
Mechanization of Sulphur handling from Sulphur production plant building up to Sulphur storage and from Sulphur storage up to ship loader, Commissioning of the Plant

Work commenced on March 2003 and completed on June 2006. The project was
constructed in two phases. Each phases was included as construction of one covered area for storage and discharging equipments of sulphur granule.


Potash Project

Client: Iran Mineral Production and Supply Co (IMPASCo)

Project: Construction of Potash Plant (EPC)

Total Contract Value: 19,975,000 Euro

Location: Khor (Isfahan Province)

Services: Endorsement of Basic Engineering, detailed engineering, supply of equipment and machineries, supply of spare parts, implementation of Civil work, erection and installation of equipment and machineries, Commissioning of the plant, Training of Client’s Personnel

Work commenced on July 2005 and completed on August 2007. The plant was designed to produce 50,000 Potash to be used as fertilizer. The plant was completed on July 2007 and was officially started up by minister of mines and industries. Potash plant produce potash from brine from playa, removing contaminants such as calcium chloride, sodium chloride and magnesium chloride.


Azerbaijan Gold Project

Client: AIMC (Azerbaijan International Mining Company)

Project: Gold Plant of gedabey (2,000 kg gold/year)

Total Contract Value: 450,000 US $

Location: Azerbaijan

Services: Supervision of final installation and making required modifications on gold plant, commissioning and operation of plant, training of local stuff, design of piping system for SART plant, commissioning of SART plant and preparing operation manual.

Work commenced on August 2009 and completed on February 2010. The plant was designed to produce 2,000 Kg pure gold. The gold plant was officially started up on May 2010 by president of Azerbaijan. Plant includes heap leaching, RIS (resin in solution) vessels, elution column and electrowinning cells.


Sulphuric Acid Project (Sungun)

Client: National Iranian Copper Industries Co (NICICO)

Type: MC

Project: Sulphuric acid plant

Total Contract Value: 7.5 million US $

Location: Songun (East Azerbayjan Province)

Services: Basic Engineering, preparation of Tender document for selection of EPC
Contractor, rendering services in Tendering stage: evaluation of tenderer’s proposals, preparation of final report to compare received proposals and give comments on potential winner of tender, cooperation with client in contract negotiation with EPC contractor, supervision on EPC contractor work include detail design, construction work supply of equipment and machineries, supply of spare parts and consumables, pre commissioning and commissioning, training of client’s personnel.

Work commenced on August 2007. The plant will be designed for exit gas of copper smelter to produce 750,000 tpy sulphuric acid.

The plant will consists of following plat units:

Gas cleaning system

Gas drying system

Converter

Sulphuric acid absorption unit

Sulphuric acid storage tanks

Effluent treatment unit

The project is under progress, and planned to be completed in 2012 (60 months).

Location: Khatoon Abad (Kerman Province)

Services: Basic Engineering, preparation of Tender document for selection of EPC
